About the Artist
Anne Hart's journey as a artist started with her mother who was her mentor and art teacher.
As the eldest with four brothers, she grew up drawing, digging up clay and kneading it to make hand pottery in the kiln. Although money was scarce, she embraced the chance to learn and listen to her mother playing the harp, falling asleep to the piano, and enjoying the simple things in life.
Choosing art as her career path at 17 years old, Anne completed four years of art night school, while working during the day in the city as a fashion designer and commercial artist.
After raising a family, Anne once again pursued her love of art and established a thriving art studio business at the enchanting Butter Factory in Bellingen Valley, NSW.
Later moving to Queensland, she taught art privately and kept developing her own art style with different art mediums. Anne believes you are never too old or young to learn to be creative and have fun splashing paint around.
Anne's art traverses a variety of mediums including resin and acrylic with which she creates mesmerizing abstract art and stunning resin pours that capture the essence of Australia's natural beauty.
